Why do I like the rain so much? I much prefer the rain over the sunshine. I don’t think I am a depressed person; it’s charming to me. I don’t have a problem with the sunshine either. I enjoy that… from a distance. I’m too white and pasty to be in it. I also make sure to get outside often, so it’s not that I am a hermit either.
It’s raining as I write this. The smell and the sound of rain calm and ignite me. Water igniting something is an interesting concept, but that’s how it makes me feel. I feel complete and in my full form when it’s raining. Perhaps this is more natural than I think.
Humans are very drawn to water. It’s no surprise most of our bodies are made of water, and we need it to survive. Why do we enjoy visiting beaches,lakes and rivers so much? I guess we are water creatures living on a water planet. Anyway, I’m sure I will write about the rain again. It’s no doubt a love affair.
