I promise I won’t always be posting about my vlog. I just started doing it, and it’s fresh and going a little better than I thought. I’ve been conflicted about doing YouTube Shorts because I think they encourage doom scrolling.
I switched to standard videos today. As expected, I got little to no views. I guess I should be okay with that. However, I would like to build a community and gain subscribers, and then I will switch to standard videos. I have other projects that I am working on, which will also be in standard format.
I’m going back to Shorts, but I have a workaround. At the beginning of my videos, I will mention that viewers should take a break from scrolling, and at the end, I will say, “Go create something.” This will be the intro to all of my short videos. I feel like I have to do this for humanity.
